Patients on regular or long term medications may be issued with repeat prescriptions without seeing the doctor each time.

Repeat prescriptions are listed on the right side (the white side) of your prescription.

Repeat prescriptions can be requested in the following ways:

  • Ticking the appropriate item (s) and returning this in person or by posting it back to the surgery.
  • Online - To order a repeat prescription online, view our online services tab or come and visit us and ask reception how to register for Patient Access.
  • Via your usual pharmacy

If a hospital clinic changes your medicine, or your feel it is no longer helping you, please make a GP appointment.

Please allow 2 full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

In emergencies when you need your prescription sooner, please speak to reception.
