Free NHS Health Check for patients aged between 40 & 74

If you are between the ages of 40 & 74 without a pre-existing condition you are eligible for a Free NHS Health Check which will check your circulatory and vascular health and what your risk of getting a disabling vascular disease is. 

Appointments are with our Healthcare Assistant and can be booked via our Reception team.

Vaccinations

65 and over

  • Flu (every year)

Pneumococcal (PPV) vaccine


70 years (plus anyone aged 71, 72, 78 and 79 in September 2015 as a catch-up)

  • Shingles vaccine     

There are some vaccines that aren't routinely available to everyone on the NHS, but that are available for people who fall into certain risk groups, such as vaccines for pregnant women, people with long-term health conditions, and healthcare workers

Additional vaccines for special groups include:

  • flu jab for pregnant women
  • whooping cough vaccine for pregnant women
  • flu vaccine for people with long-term health conditions
  • hepatitis B vaccination
  • TB vaccination
  • chickenpox vaccination
